Caleb Batman, Caleb Batman, Caleb Batman. Caleb Batman, you're a cool guy.
Husband kills wife with a pickaxe, police say
Fri May 3, 2013
Wish this article had explained why he was charged with abusing a corpse...killing his wife with a pickaxe apparently wasn't bad enough.
Pesticides aren't the biggest factor in honeybee die-off, EPA and USDA say
Thu May 2, 2013
You are all correct. I hate long posts yet here is mine. The public is not aware that these reports are deliberately skewed by the chemical industry lobby-controlled government. Beekeepers used to be able to both report and then receive monetary compensation for lost hives.
'Monster' California wildfire reaches ocean, pushes toward Malibu
Thu May 2, 2013
No, every year there are NOT billion dollar fires and mudslides in California, unlike the fact that there ARE hurricanes every year in the gulf and east coast which DO result in huge amounts of taxpayer bailouts.
Allergies on the rise in US kids, government study finds

Mick and skull, from what I have been able to discover, the "cloud seeding" in the US uses...aluminum.
Supreme Court: Search warrants don't give police the power to detain someone away from home
Tue Feb 19, 2013
The loss of rights trickles to all areas of society. What a coincidence. Today at work (school secretary) I was saddened to learn of a 15 year old 10th grader who cut a class. Someone called the resource officer (armed policeman) to say he'd been seen at a popular snack store.
Avalanche kills 4 climbers in Scottish Highlands during blast of winter weather
Sat Jan 19, 2013
I've been to Glencoe, and yes, this surprised me as the mountains simply don't seem tall enough to allow for the creation of avalanche conditions. It was beautiful and sad (damn Cambells and all) but just not tall. More like foothills of the Rockies and Sierras.

Drinking diet soda linked to depression

Not at all surprised that the article didn't mention it, but aspartame is toxic.
Indian court to rule on generic drug industry
Fri Jan 4, 2013
Yes, thank you, Tim. 7 years is MORE than enough time for these drug companies to recoup the cost of research and development. Just the example in the article given, $5,600 a month versus $175, also indicates why health insurance is so ridiculously, unnecessarily unaffordable.
Questions & Answers
Should breast-feeding be shown on Sesame Street?
Oh, the Freudian irony of that error if your correction is correct, lol.
Since hopefully parents aren't using the TV to babysit, if a child has a question about breastfeeding, he or she will ask a parent for input, not the television. In this way the episode fosters parent-directed communication.
On the other hand, I now cringe at how in the early 70s, I used to sing (thinking it was a kiddy song), "Your ding-a-ling, my-ding-a-ling, won't you play with my ding-a-ling!" If my parents had taught me otherwise instead of patiently waiting it out, I'd probably never have stopped singing it.
